Brazil nuts, almonds, sun flower, pumpkin and flax seeds are reallygood for best weight loss.
Brazil nuts are a good source of vitamin E and monounsaturated fatty acids. They are known for their high levels of selenium, which is a mineral that has antioxidant properties.Research also suggest that the South America nut reduces the risk of prostate cancer in men.Brazil nuts are high in calories, so only 1 or 2 are needed per day.
Almonds are a rich source of vitamin E, B vitamins, monounsaturated fat, calcium, magnesium and potassium.Although high in calories monounsaturated fat works well in the body and helps to absorb nutrients. Eaten in moderation, this fat has been known to help reduce "bad" LDL cholesterol in your blood and increase the "good" HDL cholesterol levels.
Sunflower seeds are yet another good source of vitamin E. This antioxidant helps protect against sun damage and free radical cell damage.
Pumpkin seeds have excellent mineral support. This includes phosphorus, magnesium, manganese, zinc, iron and copper. They too have a lot of antioxidant benefits. Try to buy organic as the taste is much better than non-organic.
Flaxseeds are best known for their omega-3 fatty acid content, lignans, which is a fiber-like compound and mucilage, a water-soluble that supports the intestinal tract.Omega-3 fatty acids found in flaxseeds are good fats that are beneficial to the brain and heart function. Research also suggest that regularly consuming flaxseeds can potentially help protect against prostate, breast and colon cancer. Flaxseeds can lower cholesterol, particularly in men and improve blood sugar among men and women, thus helping to control the glycemic index. If eating the seeds are a problem, I recommend flaxseed oil.
